The Extended Warranty Commitment by Škoda Centre Singapore
Once the 2 years New Car Warranty has expired, Škoda Centre Singapore offers to its customers a Škoda Extended Warranty ("Extended Warranty") that has been designed to give you additional peace of mind when you need it most.
The Škoda Extended Warranty Cover is designed for anyone driving a Škoda vehicle purchased from Škoda Centre Singapore wanting to protect themselves against the costs of repairing and replacing components following their failure and wanting to ensure their vehicle is repaired by a Škoda authorised workshop.
Škoda Centre Singapore reserves the right to update the extended warranty terms and conditions without prior notice.
What is covered?
This information contains the Škoda Extended Warranty provided by Škoda Centre Singapore to its customers. Please read these Extended Warranty conditions carefully to determine your warranty rights and obligations.
Your satisfaction in understanding these terms and conditions of the extended warranty that apply to your Škoda, is important to us. Please contact us if you require further information and/or clarification.
Unless otherwise expressly provided in this Extended Warranty information, the same terms and conditions of the Škoda New Car Warranty apply.
Warranty Period
All Škoda passenger cars purchased from the Škoda Centre Singapore qualify for a 3rd to 5th year warranty with a 100,000km mileage limitation following the Manufacturer's 2 years New Car Warranty. This warranty begins as of the start of the 3rd year after the date of first registration and terminates 5 years from the date of first registration or at the mileage of 100,000 km (whichever comes first).
Extended Warranty Qualifications
As the Škoda Extended Warranty is fully covered by Škoda Centre Singapore (and not by Škoda Auto as the manufacturer of the car) the below stipulations are pre-requisites to qualify for this Extended Warranty.
Servicing and Mechanical Repair
To qualify for the Škoda Extended Warranty, all services and mechanical repairs of your vehicle during the Extended Warranty period must be carried out in accordance to the manufacturer's guidelines and regulations. To avoid any mishandling of your car during servicing and mechanical repairs, we strongly recommend you have them carried out by Škoda Centre Singapore.
Travelling Abroad
Should your Škoda suffer a manufacturing defect covered by the Extended Warranty and during the period of cover (3rd to 5th year) in Singapore or while outside of Singapore, and the vehicle is within 50 km of the Singapore border, you are entitled to a complimentary tow service to Škoda Centre Singapore for repairs.
If the vehicle suffers a manufacturing defect outside 50 km of the Singapore border, towing charges shall be borne by the vehicle owner or driver.
However, please note that extended warranty coverage requires for warranty repairs to be carried out by Škoda Centre Singapore only. If you encounter a mechanical failure abroad that requires emergency repair abroad, the cost of the repair cannot be claimed from ŠkodaCentre Singapore.
24-hour Roadside Assistance
The Extended Warranty period covers roadside assistance for your vehicle 24 hours a day in Singapore.
Paintwork and Body Protection
The Paintwork and Body Protection warranty will not be further extended through the Extended Warranty. Please read the Terms and Conditions of the Škoda New Car Warranty or contact us.
Accessories Warranty
If the purchase of a Škoda Genuine accessory is indicated at the time of vehicle purchase and factored into the vehicle purchase price, this accessory will be covered by the 5-year warranty. For all accessories purchased from and fitted by Škoda Centre Singapore after delivery of your vehicle, the accessory is covered for 2 years from the date of purchase.
Any removed part which is replaced under the extended warranty becomes the property of Škoda. Any newly installed part under the extended warranty is covered for the remaining period of the extended vehicle warranty.
