You no longer need to be holding your key in order to open and lock your car. The KESSY (Keyless Entry, Start and exit System) control unit recognises the key up to 1.5 metres away from the car. The vehicle unlocks automatically when the front door handles or tailgate are operated. The engine starts at a push of a button.

The Škoda Enyaq's tailgate can be operated through various methods. Press a button from the driver's seat, use the remote key, or via a button on the tailgate. Or, simply use the Virtual Pedal for touchless opening and closing.
