A healthy environment

Electric vehicles (EV) are eco-friendly and better for the environment. They lower our reliance on fossil fuels while producing less air pollution as we travel. Without the need for a fuel burning engine, EVs also put a curb on noise pollution.

Government incentives

To support the adoption of EVs, car buyers may enjoy rebates and reduction of road taxes amongst other incentives that the Singapore government has implemented and set out for the future of e-mobility. As charging points are one of the key considerations for EV ownership, 60,000 electric vehicle charging points will be deployed across Singapore by 2030, comprising of public car parks and private premises.

More efficient drives

EVs have a regenerative braking system where wasted energy created by braking is converted and used to recharge the car's battery. This in turn helps to conserve the car's battery for longer distances.
