1.4 TSI Petrol Engine

With the new 1.4 TSI/90 kW petrol engine, the Octavia reaches a maximum speed of 202 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.8 seconds. Combined consumption is only 6.3 litres per 100 km, which corresponds to CO2 emissions of 147 g/km.

Automatic Gearboxes

A new feature in the range of automatic gearboxes is a seven-speed automatic double-clutch DSG gearbox for the 1.2, 1.4 and 1.8 TSI petrol engines. The unique technology gives DSG transmissions the ability to shift even more smoothly, thus utilising maximum torque. In practice, this means soft and fast gear shifting and favourable fuel consumption.
